안녕하세요, 이번 곡은 Doja Cat - Woman 입니다.

Doja Cat 은 "Kiss Me More" 이란 곡으로 아마 더 알고 계실듯 한데요,

그녀가 누군지 먼저 공부해보는 시간을 가지면 좋을듯 하네요 :)

 

Amala Ranta Zandile Dlamini 가 본명으로 LA 에서 태어나고 자란 1995년생 가수 이자 랩퍼입니다.

노래, 춤, 랩을 다갖춘 모든 능력치를 올린 실력을 바탕으로 성장한듯 하네요.

Doja Cat 은 청소년때 SoundCloud에 노래를 올리며 활동을 했었고,

"So High" 라는 곡이 인기를 얻으며 17살의 나이에 음반사와 계약을 하게 됩니다.

그후로는 모든 음반이 히트를 치게 됩니다.

이번 곡을 포함하여, "Say So", "Need to Know", "Kiss Me More" 등이 많은 인기를 얻게 되죠.

 

Doja Cat의 대부분 곡들은 섹스어필이 강한 사랑노래들 입니다.

한국에서는 19금이 아니라 29금 정도는 적어도 될수 있을듯 보이네요 ㅎㅎ

이번 곡은 제목으로만 봐선 여성을 강하게 어필 하는 곡이라고 오해할수 있는데요,

사실 그 반대로 보여집니다.

"Let me be your woman" 만 봐도 남성에게 종속되고 싶어하는 욕구를 표출한 내용이라고 보여집니다.

또한 "Just protect her and keep her safe" 부분에서도 남성에게 보호를 받으면서 그에게 모든 걸 받치고 싶은 내용도 보여집니다.

 

이번 곡의 가사는 개인적으로 해석이 어려운 부분들이 있었는데, 짚고 넘어가보죠!

"Put the paper in a picture like a diorama" 이 부분이 아직도 해석이 어려운 부분인데요,

"diorama" 란 3D 모형인데, 흔히 모델하우스에 보면 아파트들을 3D 모형으로 구현 해논 그거라고 보면 됩니다.

개인적인 의견으론, 3D 모형에 원하는대로 만들수 있는 느낌을 이가사에 녹인거라고 생각하여,

"원하는 대로 해봐" 라는 느낌이지 않을까 하네요.

"take away the drama" 라는 표현이 나오는데요,

여기서 "drama"는 "골칫거리" 또는 "귀찮은 문제들"을 뜻합니다.
